Rage Age by Rafal Czapul – Gibraltar Base ss 2011
After a mysterious case to Tsarist Russia, Rage Age continues to the raw but picturesque Gibraltar Base. Rafal Czapul got inspired by the 1967’s Tobruk movie starring Rock Hudson with a good sort of WWII military uniforms and turns them into the comfortable yet glamorous rage sets.
Keep looking for some big-pocket leather jackets, garment washed blazers and a sort of spring coats in military green and burned beige. Low waist multi-pocket cargo pants are khaki or navy and the low welt ones made from jersey are sand white or mellow gold. Shirts and T-shirts are irregularly zipped and garment washed too so that you’ll all guys look like if you’re just back from some lofty missions. However, if you prefer to have a classic yet rage look, pick up some summer sets of suits and shirts made from the best quality silks and cottons from Como or Bergamo. Po tajemniczych (ale i udanych) śledztwach w carskiej Rosji, tym razem Rage Age z Rafałem Czapulem na czele wyruszają na podbój Gibraltaru w nowej, militarnej odsłonie. Na tle jednocześnie surowych, ale i malowniczych pejzarzy rysują się ostre kadry rodem z filmu Tobruk z Rockiem Hudsonem w roli głównej, a sami modele wyglądają, jakby dopiero co zeskoczyli z ogłuszających helikopterów brytyjskiej LRDG. Nie zapominajmy też o polskim kontekście tego miejsca – to właśnie tam Samodzielna Brygada Strzelców Karpackich pod dowództwem gen. Stanisława Kopańskiego zasłynęła ze swojej waleczności u boku sił alianckich.
Wojskowe akcenty zaczerpnięte z mundurów zołnierzy II wojny światowej rejonu Basenu Morza Śródziemnego posłużyly jako motywy przewodnie w kreacji wyrazistych i pełnych charakteru zestawień militarnej zieleni z pustynnym, jakby spalonym słońcem beżem, przybrudzoną bielą, żeglarskim granatem oraz patynowanymi złotem oraz szlachetną, nietypową gołebią szarością. Duże kieszenie w asymetrycznie zapinamych skórzanych kurtkach oraz spodniach – bojówkach z obniżonym stanem komponuja się idealnie z militarnymi butami ze skóry oraz surowymi połaciami letniego płótna. Nowoczesne, casualowe wersje mundurów by Rage Age oraz bawełniane koszule są wykonane w technologii garment washed, dzięki której są wygodne do noszenia nie tylko na zobowiązujące okazje, a lekkie T-shirty typu V-neck oraz round-neck sprawiają wrażenie ubrudzonych, jakby dopiero wyłonionych z pustynnych okopów. Dla tych, którzy jednak wolą bardziej klasyczne zestawienia, Rage Age przygotował garnitury z lekkiej wełny i jedwabiu oraz koszule i dodatki wykonane z najwyższej jakości tkanin z Bergamo i Como. Już niebawem pokaz, a tymczasem obejrzyjcie koniecznie zdjęcia z sesji wykonanej nie gdzie indziej jak właśnie na Gibraltarze!!
