Tomasz Ossoliński launches his first Made-to-Measure boutique with a ss 2012 show
Back to Poland Fashion News guys, I bet you were wondering if I’m not too choosy when it comes to featuring the shows. Yes, I am:)
More of a virtuoso play than a fashion show, Tomasz Ossoliński delivered but a charming display of his tailoring skills and let the retro music and theatrical lightning do the rest of the job. As for the spring/summer stuff, the Prince of Wales check finds its way home on light shades of grey and beige, while indigo, graphite and white silk dyes tell the rest of the story of single- and double breasted jackets to be paired with either slim or Oxford pants. Some are lucky enough to be matched with a kind of resort shorts to give a sense of today’s almost forgotten lazy luxury (I used to love it..) and the gowns, too, are bringing the viewers back to the age of high defined glamour and pearls with the backs exposed and flares flowing here and there as the model walks her way through the room.
The line was held to launch the opening of Ossoliński’s first Made-to-Measure boutique, where the suits are deliberately tailored and craftsmanship celebrated. Gentleman, if you happen to be in Warsaw, just remember to drop in, I bet you’ll have a great stuff to enjoy.
