Franck Sorbier’s couture Ode to Feminity for ss2012
Just another FW capture of the amazing Franck Sorbier‘s couture show with a myriad of both Mediterranean as well as Polynesian goddess creates a tribute to women’s heritage. Fiberglass bustiers firms up the body so that you get a feeling the dress is made the way the antique sculptures were shaped and the generously draped flares in both just-over-the-knee and maxi lenght gives the impression the ladies are setting forth just right from the venerable Renaissance paintings. Spot the extremely elaborated strokes and shimmering pieces as it’s also the details that counts.
